If God is Good: Faith in the Midst of Suffering and Evil is the latest book by Best-Selling Author Randy Alcorn. Most of us have had why questions. Why do bad things happen to good people? Why do the innocent suffer? Why is this happening, more specifically, why is this happening to me? Alcorn addresses evil and suffering in great detail in this book.

To be honest, I haven’t yet read it. It’s the first time I haven’t met a deadline with a book/blog tour. I really do want to read it. Sort of. But while my own wounds from my latest miscarriage have begun to heal, they are still in the early stages of healing. I’m not sure I want to pick at them just yet. However, it really does look good. And deep ~ very deep. This is not a book to be read lightly, or to be skimmed over. If one is to really extract the nuggets of truth and wisdom that I’m certain are in it, then it must be read, and absorbed slowly. And I look forward to doing that ~ soon.
