Leaving Carolina by Tamara Leigh was delightful. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and it left me wanting to read more by her. It was awesome! I loved the story, I loved the characters, I loved the Southern flavor . . . I just really loved this book!

Piper was a young woman determined to leave her past, the south, and her family behind her. But at an inconvenient time (isn’t it always that way with family?) she’s drawn back into the thick of it. Her motto is ‘get in, get out,’ but it doesn’t exactly work that way. What she finds is that she’s not the only one who’s changed and that maybe her roots still reach to the southern life she’s rejected. Limelight is filled with humor, heartache, secrets, truth, rejection, acceptance, forgiveness and healing. I can’t wait till the next book in the series is out!
